Condensed water in the cup:  Sometimes you need to check first if the water you are noticing is just condensation. Many times, water can leak into your toilet due to humidity in the bathroom during your shower.

Worn Lid: One of the common causes of bathroom leaks could be the result of a worn lid. A flap is used to stop the flow of water into the toilet bowl. But when tis flap is damaged, the water continuously flows into the bowl and the water leaks into the toilet.
